Welcome. As the days slide into autumn cool we've just had a wonderful Meridian Energy workshop with Stephen Hunter exploring the bridge between traditional chinese medicine and EFT tapping. EFT Events news:
EFT has its roots in acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine but just as we can drive a car safely without understanding what goes on under the bonnet (hood) so we can tap effectively with no knowledge of meridians or five elements theory. Over this last weekend tappers learned how an appreciation of the five elements Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood; their related emotions; and how they interact can explain why after a trauma a person's behaviour and emotions can change. For example after a loss a person can experience fearfulness and become angry and blaming. Stephen described the elements and theory and Gwyneth illustrated with tapping case histories and with demonstrated how this understanding helps us to ask good questions and to find core issues.
Linda Wood says: "This is an amazing workshop, Stephen is wonderful at explaining and using examples to help us make connections to what we already know. Gwyneth is fantastic in the way she has taken EFT and connected it with his information and then used examples to show us how to integrate five elements with what we experience with our clients. EFT Practitioner Gillian Wightman's session was named "Too Much Tragedy": its easy to see why and the learning here is about how to tap with someone in intense, real and justifed distress.
