This newsletter is especially for those of you in the US. Dawson Church and David Feinstein take EFT to the House of Representatives. And I will be coming over to teach EFT in Colorado with my good friends EFT Masters Rue Hass and Ann Ross.
EFT is an excellent support to conventional treatment for cancer and I am delighted that four people with direct experience have come together to share and teach, see Holistic Health and article from Linda Wood.
Rue Hass and I together with a great bunch of enthusiastic tappers had such a good time together at Sunrise Ranch in Colorado last summer that we are coming back for more, and with Ann Ross too! Though there is much to be gained from the many teleseminars and recorded phone interviews on offer his is your chance to learn directly from three of the EFT Masters. You can get your questions answered and to learn from live demonstrations. Plus you get to share social time with us and often fascinating conversations develop over Sunrise Ranch delicious home cooked meals or during evening strolls in the Rocky Mountain foothills. We know that last year's participants will all be wanting to come back for more so do book soon to be sure of your place. And for European readers this may be your chance to combine your tapping journey with an exploration of the stunningly beautiful Amercian West. Sunrise is easy to reach from Denver airport and you will find many new friends there. (Oh and no, we don't actually tap at sunrise, though we may tap at sunset!)
Dawson Church reaches Congress, and the Masterclass
In March Energy Psychology ambassadors Dawson Church, David Feinstein and an Iraq war vetran visited the House of Representatives in Washington DC. Their day was an amazing blend of frustration and miracles. Read David Feinstein's report here EFT Congressional Visit. Despite countless setbacks they were able to get some influential ears to hear the simple message of the effectiveness of tapping for PTSD. Dawson Church will be presenting along with David Hamilton, Sophia Cayer and the European EFT Masters at the EFT Masterclass 2010 in London the weekend of 2/3 October see www.EFTMasterclass.com This year the masterclass is organised by Sue Beer, Emma Roberts and Judy Byrne and it promises to be a great show with a special discount for the first 100.
For new presenters in the UK there will be two EFT Gatherings in 2011. Andy Eckley will run the Northern Gathering at Craiglands in January and Roy Martin will run the Midlands Gathering in June. Of course you are welcome to come to both! More news soon and we will be looking for presenters.
At the EFT Gathering Dr Kate James moved and inspired us all with her story of her daughter's recovery from cancer using everything the NHS could offer together with nutritional therapy and traditional chinese medicine. During the lunch break, Kate got talking with Linda Wood who's brother and daughter-in-law have both amazed their doctors (read this article by Linda Wood to learn more). EFT Master Mair Llewellyn who has herself been undergoing successful holistic and conventional treatment for breast cancer then joined them with her husband homeopath Tam Llewellyn. The four of them decided that their knowledge and experiences needed to be shared and they came up with their Cancer Support Workshop. This will be run at Craiglands in Ilkley the weekend of 8/9 May and is intended primarily for EFT Practitioners who want to use EFT and holistic approaches to support clients, friends and family undergoing treatment for cancer. Tapping for others at a distance seems too strange to be true, however time after time we see results. This is Charlie who lives with Mandie Mason. Charlie had a very annoying behaviour of snatching any paper, the mail or money, out of Mandie's hand and chewing it to shreds. In the last EFT for Animals day we tapped remotely for Charlie. Mandie says that her husband at home noticed a difference in Charlie as we were tapping. The result: "Charlie is no longer jumping off the top of the sofa to the door when the mail is delivered, he is no longer running around the dining room or hiding behind the table chewing the mail. He is still keen to get at paper, but he allows me to retrieve it from his mouth without the battle. He used to pounce to get the money out of the window cleaner's hand whilst I was paying him, that did not happen this week. I managed to pay without having to get my £5 note out of Charlie's mouth! John has been suffering from migraine and facial neuralgia. In this one hour session we start tapping and questioning and up comes a memory of when he was beaten up by a bully on his way home from school aged 11. Notice how we get to the details of the attack and several aspects to clear the energy of the trauma and as we do so John's symptoms clear. We focus on the shock, the fear, the injustice and being alone and unprotected. Two years since we filmed this later John reports that he has not had migraine since.
