This is Tiki and he lives with Karin Davidson. Karin runs her business from home and has a regular stream of visitors, not a problem for Tiki except for one particular employee. Tiki is a big dog as you can see and he would bark and cause a scene each time this poor guy came to work. Now listen to this Free EFT Audo as Karin and I discuss and then demonstrate my Tapping for Animals protocol. It really is quite amusing and very powerful to hear Karin role playing her dog. The outcome Karin says is: "After the tapping session Tiki now does his usual 'someone's here' bark but he doesn't go crazy anymore. He growls for just a couple of seconds and then comes over and lays by me. No more howling, no more growling for 10 minutes after my editor goes into the edit room. Just bark, bark, growl, lay down." EFT is so wonderfully simple that though we are using the meridian energy system we don't need to know a thing about it or even to believe that it exists. Yet so many of us do get so curious... That is why I invited Stephen Hunter, lecturer in Acupuncture to teach a workshop with me to explore the fundementals of traditional chinese medicine to the extent they are useful and interesting to EFT Practitioners. I have found an understanding of the five elements and the flow of energy through the elements really helpful in mapping how seemingly unrelated symptoms or behaviours can track back to a particular trauma or time of stress - which we can then clear with tapping. In this workshop you will gain all of that and also how to use Five Elements Flower Essences developed by Stephen in conjunction with Arthur Bailey (his father in law and founder of the Bailey Essences). You will take away your own personally prescribed essence so that you can experience for yourself the effects of combining essences with EFT. No not that F word! Here we mean the FAT word! Here is a clip from my contribution to the DVD of the Month club. Lynn wants to work on her "weight" and we focus on her FAT and its purpose - protection. Sabina has problems reading and with her eyesight that have mystified the doctors who tell her that she has healthy eyes and there is no reason why her vision is clouded by "snow". In this clip from the start of our session you see how I start tapping for her disbelief that EFT can help: "Even though I doubt this will work and I'm afraid it won't...." From there we get to the purpose of the "snow" she sees which is to protect her from what she might see, or rather what she once saw. In June I presented at the EFT Masterclass in Holland together with author of "The Genie in Your Genes" Dawson Church and EFT neurofeedback experts Donna Bach and Gary Groesbeck and here is a short video of the event. My presentations covered Imagineering, EFT for Animals, the Palace of Possibilities and lots of discussion with an enthusiastic and switched on audience.

The amazingly powerful and profound workshop that I first titled the EFT Expert workshop and then changed the name to Emotional Freedom Techniques has just had a second change of name to EFT Innovations. This name feels right to me because that is what the workshop is about. Its a collection of my new stuff and experimental stuff. There are so many ways to be creative with tapping. We can take anything we ever learned and any pattern from any approach to human change and find some way to tap with it. At Parcevall Hall and in this workshop, groups have been deeply moved by "The Web of Life". This is my way of integrating tapping with intergenerational group work - something like Virginia Satir's reconstructions or Family Constellations only EFT adds another dimension, smooths the flow, contains and heals the strong emotions released. The "Voices Grid" is another innovation which takes Time Line and Perceptual Positions from NLP and adds tapping as group work to overcome life's blocks. The next EFT Innovations workshop is 24/25 October at Craiglands in Ilkley.
Experienced tapper John Bullough with coach Pamela Bruner has produced a superb book: EFT and Beyond. This is a work of considerable breadth and depth, John has persuaded over twenty of EFTs innovators to write chapters about their powerful new developments and creative applications of EFT. John's editing skill weaves the separate strands into a cohesive whole of over five hundred pages.
